about

To most, RF7 needs no introduction -- the band was formed in Southern California by Felix Alanis in 1979. RF7's 1st major appearance was on the “Public Service” compilation w/Red Cross, Circle One & Bad Religion release in 1981, selling over 100,000 copies. RF7 is tied to many historical events throughout So Cal punk history. Sharing stages or vinyl with Dead Kennedy's, Circle Jerks, Dickies, TSOL, Redd Kross and on and on and on...right to the present day where they were the featured band at the opening of the Punk Rock Museum in 2012. Still playing with founding members, still playing 20 to 30 live shows per year, still making new music, including their latest studio release RF7 “101” in 2014. On this track RF7 members are founding members Nick Lamagna on guitar, Felix Alanis on vocals, and Walt Phelan on drums, and are joined by Tony Calderone on guitar and Richard Maya on bass.
