about

Marginal Man is an acclaimed band from Washington DC. Their first album on Dischord Records "Identity" is a classic. The members of the band: Steve Polcari, Mike Manos, Kenny Inouye, Pete Murray, and Andre Lee, all accomplished musicians, created an unmistakable sound that can only be described as "Marginal Man". Marginal Man formed from the ashes of the legendary DC hardcore band Artificial Peace, which appeared on Dischord Records' esteemed "Flex Your Head" compilation album in 1982, and changed the face of not only punk rock, but rock and alternative music forever. Marginal Man was the obvious next step in the evolution of hardcore punk, and became an important musical landmark in what can become from stretching the boundaries of the genre.
